A 180 degree fire rated door viewer suitable for use in 30 minute fire
resistant doors |

The fire rated viewer is
supplied with an intumescent liner that allows occupiers to have the
peace of mind of security without compromising the integrity of the fire
door. The product has been tested and complies with BS476 Pt22:1987 |

The viewer
allows occupants to see out but does not allow callers to see in and the
external lens can be removed for cleaning without removing the whole
viewer which is
fully adjustable to suit doors from 35 – 50mm and only requires a 15mm
dia hole. |

The viewers
are available in Brass or Chrome. |

INSTALLATION |
|
The viewer
should be installed in the centre of the door and should be at a maximum
tested height from the floor to the viewer of 1500mm to stay within the
tested criteria. Drill a 15mm dia hole, ensure aperture is smooth and no
rough edges to tear the intumescent liner, unscrew the body and fit into
hole. Re-screw two parts together. Finally use a screw driver to provide
tight fit and secure viewer in position. |
