Description
Pre-formed intumescent covers designed to reinstate the integrity of fire rated
walls that are breached when single or double switch/socket boxes are installed,
they also provide an effective acoustic barrier to both impact and airborne
sounds.
The
cover can be fitted to existing sockets/switches or fitted during wall
construction, the switch/socket can also be removed when/if required without
disturbing or needing to replace the cover.
The
covers are easy to install using a simple and fast mechanical fixing system, no
additional screws, drilling or support required, in walls with two layers of
plasterboard on each face the ends of the fixing wires can be sandwiched between
the plasterboard layers.
