FIRESTRIP 30 &  FIRESTRIP 60 – for doors & screens (30 & 60 minute fire rating*)

Sometimes known as ‘mastic on a roll’ this versatile product can be used in fire rated doors and screens over a wide range of glass options. Supplied in coils for a convenient, clean application with minimal waste and trims easily at sightline to leave a neat finish.

Tested to BS476 part 20/22 and Certifire approved. An intumescent liner is required in some 60 minute applications.

Colours: Off-White or Mahogany, can be overcoated with paints or woodstains

LORIENT SYSTEM 36 – for doors & screens (30 & 60 minute fire rating*)

Probably the best U shaped intumescent glazing gasket in the market, available in a range of sizes to suit glass thicknesses from 4mm to 23mm. Can be used in fire rated doors & screens offering 30 or 60 minute fire rating subject to glass type/size, can also be used in circular apertures. Tested to BS 476 part 20/22 and Certifire approved.

LORIENT SYSTEM 90 plus – for doors & screens (60 minute fire rating*)

U shaped intumescent glazing channel, provides an alternative to ‘Monolux channel’ and is less prone to damage, can be used in fire rated doors and screens with 6mm fire rated glass. An intumescent LX liner, available separately, is also required with this system.

Tested to BS 476 part 20/22 and Certifire approved.

LORIENT FLEXIBLE FIGURE 1 – for doors (30 minute fire rating*)

A self-adhesive intumescent seal for use in fire rated doors only, the unique flexible fins allow for tolerances within the door construction. For use with 5 to 7mm fire rated glass. Tested to BS 476 part 20/22 and Certifire approved.

LORIENT SYSTEM 321 – for doors (30 minute fire rating*)

The complete solution for glazing 30 minute fire rated doors, supplied as a complete kit containing glass, beading, intumescent and fixings; the system offers quick fixing usually less than 2 minutes. Tested to BS 476 part 20/22 and Certifire approved.

Colours: Clear or Wired glass with either light or dark hardwood beading.

THERM A GLAZE 30 – for doors (30 minute fire rating*)

Graphite based intumescent seal, supplied with a self-adhesive backing tape to facilitate fixing, for use in fire rated doors only, can be used in areas of high humidity. Tested to BS476 part 20/22 and Certifire approved.

THERM A GLAZE 60 – for doors & screens  (60 minute fire rating*)

Phosphate based intumescent contained in a pvc sleeve complete with an intumescent TGL liner for use in fire rated doors & screens. The pvc sleeves are available in a choice of colours and are supplied with a self-adhesive backing tape to facilitate fixing.

Tested to BS 476 part 20/22 and Certifire approved.

SEALMASTER FIREGLAZE COMPOUND – for doors & screens (30 & 60 minute fire rating*)

High performance intumescent glazing compound that can be used in fire rated doors & screens a FGL liner is required in some applications, ideal when glazing circular apertures. Tested to BS 476 part 20/22 and Certifire approved.

Colours: White, Brown, Black, Grey & Light Oak

Size: 310ml cartridge, yield subject to fire rating

CERAMIC GLAZING TAPE – for doors & screens (Non-Combustible)

Often used for glazing insulating and non-insulating glass into internal screens and doors manufactured from steel. Unlike timber, steel framing does not erode in fire and mineral fibre tapes are used to reduce the amount of heat conducted to the edges of the glass and to help secure the glass in position as it starts to soften and slump. The tape is supplied with a self adhesive tape on one side to assist fixing and is easy to install.
